Ok wasnt gonna do a report on PFN VS LS but i have spare time on my hands, so here goes......
This was actually a very very good match.
Game 1:
Aaron VS Holly
Well match 1 started with no safeties at all aaron looked in good form and holly a little bit off colour, aaron showed a little bit of snookering skill but its something he will have to learn and pick up to do well in interleagues, however he made some pretty good shots and has the RAW talent to become a cracking opening player.
Holly however...........i dunno what to make of her, she does posess a few good shots, she cant snooker however but did have a great record and was in my 4 of the best. To do well in interleagues you have to be able to adapt to the player uyou are up against, did holly do that i dont think and this is why aaron made it 1-0 to PFN
Game 2:
Jason vs Tony
Well game two was totally different to game 1. Tony made a saftey break and my god i even saftied back :O. this went on for mayb 10 mins tony and me both snokering and snookering back when the odd ball came out it was potted. Tony grabbed the upper hand when i didnt put enough power onthe q ball and gave him bih. After that tony was always gonna win, and when i went for a banzai shot that missed the writing was on the wall.
1-1
Game 3:
Jamie VS Chris
When i called Jamie i was desperate to see Simon called to play him, but bev called chris and this was still quite a good match up on paper. Jamie broke and Chris potted a few then Jamie got another go and didnt look back i think this was quite possably the quickest game of the night Chris was just unlucky in the end and Jamie polished up for a 2-1 lead to PFN
Game 4:
Jeanna VS Simon
Ok this match was important for both teams. Both teams new who the other team had left, but were both surprised in the end at one person from each team not get played. This match tho was full of drama, Jeanna went on a early run and it came to a sudden halt, simon then responded with what i thought was gonna be a game winning run, but he got yahooed harsh maybe but thats the way the cookie crumbles, then jeanna went on a mini run again, and was left with the green solid and black. Instead of play safe she took her time and went for what most people would call a crazy shot, it very nearly paid off. Then i thought well thats it simon will clear, but he DIDNT he either got yahooed and or made a mess up and said he was yahooed so Jeanna was left with green either top left or top middle, she took her time about 7 or 8 minutes to be precise and slotted it away into top middle leaving a reletively easy black into top right.
3-1 PFN
Game 5
Kerry VS Eskimon Ownage
Sorry for not know eski's name, this tho was a very interesting match up, on one hand kerry was played 4 won 4 but eski is a very impressive player. It didnt take long for there to be a open table, and Kerry missed a shot and eski took control, played very well snookered kerry a couple of times, and kerry tried to answer the snookers, got out of them but left eski to slot home the win for LS and take it to the last game.
3-2 PFN
Game 6
Sean VS Bev
Well originally i had Stevie or Kev down to play this..............then Stevie went and sean came in. Sean didnt even know he was eligable. Now bev is actually rather good, you may think i sound surprised but im not could she put up with sean? Well sean wasnt in his best form it was pretty open the whole last game and at one point Bev had a brilliant chance to win it but missed the difficult pot which would have left her on the rest. Sean got into good positions but his snookering let him down at times. He ended up winning the game and I think Bev can count herself Unlucky that she lost sean go thtat little bit of luck. i think PFN were deserved winners in the end. And very good luck to LS next season
Final score 4-2 PFN
there will b a report of MP VS 8BS on saturday. The match itself is on friday night at 7
