Week 1 Predictions
Date: Monday 28th July
Place: Back Spin @ 6pm
Match: PoolPals vs Fallen Angels
Well PoolPals captained by Neo have a strong team altho losing marky is a big blow, they still have a team that can most definatly compete for the WPC championship this season, they come up against Fallen Angels who are actually no strangers to interleagues playing in STL and upsetting current WPC champions MagicPool. I actually think that Fallen Angels are going to do something here, I have absolutely no idea who there players are but all I do know is in STL they are having a good season so I will got 4-2 to FA
Date: Monday 28th July
Place: Pool Hustlers @ 7pm
Match: CyberSharks vs 8BallScratch
Match 2 and the other team no one will have heard of before we visit Pool Hustlers and the team CyberSharks, this is the team i think will contend with there opponents and Fallen Angels for the bottom 3 places. I personnally think they have the enthusiasm and desire to do well they have 22 players signed up to the ladder and are really up for it. They are goin to have to be because in there way is Paul and his 8BallScratch team. This is a team that has to play above there ability to stand any chance what so ever, for either of these teams to make playoffs I think it would be near on impossable. Score i think 8BS wins 4-2
Date: Wednesday 30th July
Place: Bad Times @ 7pm
Match: PoolFiction vs Latino Pool Legends
This is the best match up of all of week 1 PFN powerhouse against Tinos LPL. What can we expect, well proberly a little bit of drama. PFN off the back of losing to MP in the finals will be out to win the trophy in season 2, whereas LPL on the other hand wanna win everything they enter. This match will depend on 3 things, 1. Can LPL bring 6 players to the table, 2. Can PFN bring there best 6 to the table and 3. Who can hold there nerve, this would not surprise me in 11 or 12 weeks being the grand final. Who will win this one? PFN 4-2 only because they have home advantage.
Date: Thursday 31st July
Place: Advanced lounge 2 @ 6pm
Match: MagicPool vs DevineCuez
MagicPool will come into this season as the shock winners from last season they have some good players for this season including Ashley, Jordy and Mike who i actually think is there strongest player, MagicPool come up against DevineCuez and altho they are keeping it open for anyone to play im sure Zach and co will always have a good team as they are such a big league, this is a close matchup between 2 teams that have been predicted 2nd and 3rd. So i will put my kneck on the line and take everything into account i think DC will come out on top ina game 6 clinch 4-2
Date: Thursday 31st July
Place: Welcome To The Jubgle @ 7pm
Match: BreakNRun vs Luckyshots
BNR vs LS is goin to be a great match. If it was LS at home i would say that Bev and Simon would easily roll over BNR. However with Dina you have a experienced fantastic captain and BNR if they bring there best 6 players to the table and with home advantage I think could counter everything thrown at them by LuckyShots. LS have Simon, Chris and Tony. If LS win they need them 3 winning atleast or that wont have a chance. Score 3-3 and the first draw in WPC season 2.
There u have them then plz let me know if ur agree, disagree or just enjoyed reading them.

Pool Fiction (PFN)
Runners-Up in season1 Pool Fiction look set to challenge for the gold yet again this season. They had a awful showing in the first 2 weeks of season1 going down (5-1 and 6-0). Jason and his team will be determined not to repeat those same mistakes again. come end of week #13 it wouldnt surprise me if pool fiction were sitting on the top spot they have a very good team with a few good strong players. Can jason take them that 1 bit further and bring the gold back to Pool Fiction, Or will they once again fall short of the hurdle.
Key Player: Jamie (xlx_bpk)
Season Odds: 11/8 (1st)
Devine Cuez (DC)
Led by Lewis (eng.lishmen) This will be DC first season in Wpc, A newish league around the Pool World, What can we expect from them? DC have assembled together a very strong interleague team who should have no problems making it to the playoffs. With the players they have (Zach, Neale, Lewis) 3 potential match winners right there they shouldnt be under estimated at all. In my mind there going to be the surprise team this season
Season Odds: 2/1 (2nd)
Magic Pool (MP)
Defending champions Magic Pool look set for another long exciting season battle to defend there gold, after a roller-coaster ride from season 1, No1 could of expected MP to come out on top. With Jordy as the capt and also (MVP from season1) they have proven to alot of people they are no push overs who can also surprisingly play on cam pretty well. Magic Pool are well known for there Up & Down perfomances in most interleagues could that be there downfall this season? or can Magic Pool reclaim the gold for a 2nd time? It's only a matter of time before we have our answer.
Season Odds: 11/2 (3rd)
Poolpals (PP)
After the dominance they showed in Pro throughout the regular season going 8-1 (Only to crash out to a dreadful playoff performance) How much can we expect from them in Wpc? Captained by Neo and Corey i expect them to come full force into Wpc with an explosive record, Aslong as Neo/Corey try there best and overcome any obstacle's that stand in front of them they have a good chance of finishing near the top.
Key Player: Colt (xxx_airtec_xxx)
Season Odds: 5/1 (4th)
Latino Pool Legends (LPL)
Led by Tino, I aint to familar with there current team but with tino in full swing of things LPL debut season looks good. They only have a few signed upto the ladder. So will we see a few surprises in store come kickoff time? Lpl are also no strangers to camming matches or entering playoffs as they proved in Plc13 were they just fell shy of the finals. I look forward to seeing what LPL will bring to the table
Season Odds: 8/1 (5th)
Captained by Dina, also their debut season in Wpc how will they fair? pretty good i reckon iv played some of the BNR members in other interleagues and have been impressed at how calm and collected they are, A very good sporting team who turn up play there matches have fun and leave again, BNR are the prime example of what a good team is all about. They have some good attacking options with the likes of (Capwhanda/Brownie/Redhot) i put my money on BNR making a strong finishing impact come end of season
Season Odds: 10/1 (6th)
Luckyshots (LS)
Captained by Bev, LS who fell just short of playoff finals last season. Will have their back against the walls for this season i just dont see them making a impact or challenging for the top spot with that being said they have a good few players who people should watch out for (Simon/Chris) 2 very good players who can turn any match around in any situation. They should be able to scrape into the playoffs
Season Odds: 12/1 (7th)
8 Ball Scratch (8BS)
Captained by Paul, I have to admit i dont know alot about his team or if he has added any new faces to his lineup. I just cant see 8BS challenging for the top spot this season. With 8 places up for grabs this season for playoffs 8bs should be able to just sneak in and no more. I like to be proven wrong from time to time so its really upto 8BS to answer there critics and prove us all wrong that they are infact a team to watch out for
Season Odds: 16/1 (8th)
Cyber Sharks (CS)
Led by Dave (No not me), As thier debut season in Wpc. I have really no idea what to expect from this league or what kind/type of players they will bring to the table. From my recent knowledge they are a nice happy bunch of people who like to compete, I cant see them coming close to the top4 but rest assured they will be giving it all they have week after week. However do not take them lightly as they could have a few surprises in there team
Season Odds: 25/1 (9th)
Fallen Angels (FA)
Captained by Lee, Interleagues shouldnt be to much of a hassle for FA as they have there own ITL, So what are we expecting to see from this league? Well that question shall remained unanswered as i havent got the slighest idea. Although i never rule out any league and if they have some attacking options in there team ima go for a wild one and predict they will upset 1 of the bigger leagues in wpc this season. Its also thier Wpc debut aswell so i wish them all the best for season2
Key Player: N/a
Season Odds: 40/1 (10th)
This is my first time doing predictions, so i appologize if there not to good. These are also my own opinon on how i see each team any comments let me know thanks

MP do it 2-1 Over PFN
PFN played MP in the grand finale of WPC season 1 and we had a cracker, an absolute cracker. MP surprisingly with a bit of luck took match one 4-2 after a Jamie choke. Did MP deserve the first match i dont know. Credit must go to Jordy he played the right players at the right times. I however could have played PFN's better.
So MP lead into day two of the finals where PFN grab the advantage back with a 4-0 thumping. Jamie and Kev did not even play. We then come to match three and PFN and MP came out on fire, however MP came out on top with jordy beating Jamie and then Kev, well you just cant argue with that. MP most definatly deserved the 2 Matches to 1 victory, can they do it next season only time will tell.
We have DC,LPL,LS,PFN,PP and BNR all in there contending with MP to get that title away from them next season . If MP have a chance you will have to read my interview with jane to be posted straight below this.
Thankyou for all the teams who took part and finished the season and heres to a great season 2. Keep a eye on dave posting all the info for season 2 including tourney info and a analysis of each team entered.
MP captain/interleague admin interview
With mp_man_killer01
Jason: Firstly i wanna say thankyou for agreeing to do this and congratulations on your wpc series finals victory against pfn. What was th key to success throughout the season?
Jane: keeping my team together, MP is a very large league now and hard to handle all the players.
Jason: who would u say over the season was your key players and why?
Jane: by far xlx_skill_xlx, Jordy is a key player. he has the abitility to hang with the best of them. Has excellent skills with ypool.
Jason: was there any reasons why you put jordy as captain for the finals?
Jane: Jordy is always my Capt. whether on the table or behind the scene. He always matches players, and knows how they all play.
Jason: Well he did a very good job. realistically what was your expectations at the start of the season and was there any teams that surprised you in any way?
Jane: We never expected to get this far at all. Rank Monsters were a very good, well playing team and figured we wouldnt get past them, but they didnt show. When faced with Poolfiction, didnt think would get past them either, a very steady shooting group. Mp is famous for being up and down, never know how we are going to play.
Jason: did anything surprise you about the finals?
Jane: No surprizes, but a little disappointment in ian and george. They were 2 of my stronger interleague players.
Jason: What dissapointed you about them?
Jane: I expected a win for sure out of them. But goes to show you never know how a match will turn out
Jason: I know that feeling lol. Jamie and Kev lost for me. What did your team think when they lost 4-0 in match 2? did you have to get them back up?
Jane: It made them more determined. Mp has been to a lot of playoffs but always have the worst luck. They were determined MP was finally gonna win a finals. They were really pumped up for the last match.
Jason: yes i could tell. who do you think proved the most difficult player to beat in the finals and why? i personally thought mike was awesome for you
Jane: The most difficult to my team was Jamie. Jamie must have had an impressive record. he was one player for pfn most dreaded.
Jason: well i am sure he will be glad to hear your team think that. how do you see next season in wpc 2 going?
Jane: I think next season, now that first is over, will be a lot tuffer with tuffer players. Gonna be a good one
Jason: who do you see challenging for your title next season? theres some good new teams in next season?
Jane: I havent had a chance to see all teams for next season. I know poolfiction will be out to get # 1.
Jason: i personally think you will definatly get to the playoffs again. it doesnt matter if u finish 1st or 8th you would still be there. Who do we watch out for next season from MP other than jordy?
Jane: Ashley is determined he will be top player. That attitude is what it takes to make a winner. Watch out for ashley!
Jason: As in pro.ashley?
Jane: Yes
Jason: ok i would liek to thank you for takin the time to be interviewed by me. I will finish with one last question. Can you defend your wpc title next season?
Jane: We sure will try, i hope we can give it a run next season too. Was a great honor for MP, the whole league was very proud
Jason: Well its been a pleasure most the time of playing you and we would like to congratulate you on behalf of wpc admins leagues and most of all TY for giving PFN one hell of a fight. i have been one of ur biggest supporters this season and you won over 3 matches congratualtions.
Jane: ty you are a very smart man.
Jason: TY
