WEEK 4

Welcome to week 4 of the World Pool Championships. Some good solid performances from teams last week and some shock departures from others. More to follow later, Lets look at the season so far.

8BS are the surprise leaders but for how long. This is because there captain and one of there main reasons they are doing as good as they are is paul(OMY_2EZ) was asked to leave. Now this is a awful decision on 8BS's part as the team that he put together all moved to NHP also. So 8BS are top with 9 points out of 9. BUT HAVE NOW BEEN REPLACED WITH EPL. WELCOME BACK TO WPC.

Lying in second now is LS, They are having sucha strong season with Simon and bev doing a great job. LS also have jordy back (he says he never gets a mention) after he broke the rules by moving from DC to LS under permission then deciding after one match for LS 'you know what im just going to move back to DC' and got caught and will be banned I hope for cheating! LS have a great shout at winning this WPC championship they have a good core of players and will always pick up wins in any way.

Lying in 3rd is DC and they are here for the long term challenging for this season 2 Championship. In the englishman they have a great capt and kelly is a good player this season as well as neale its a good core of players that got stronger yesterday as Jeanna joined them. That will prove a great asset.

4th place at the moment is PP who drew with MP the other day. Now i feel PP can really push on for top honours this season and it will be down to Bamm and danielle and co to really push PP onto the heals of DC and LS as i feel 8BS will really slip down the order now PP are gonna be there for the end and possably sneak the finals.

Showing 5th place is PFN. This is a place PFN aint really known for they are known for the top 1 or 2 places. PFN really got into gear last match destroying CS 5-1 and showing they are back and ready to fight in WPC. I feel that there a cert for the Semi finals. They need ogges jamie and musti to produce the goods.

LPL are joint with PP and PFN but lying in 6th due to games difference. They are going to have to put in a good effort to get playoffs I feel as teams like FA and MP are still to really get going. LPL must have tino and sergio at every match to push there team on and into the playoffs. This is a indifferent season for LPL and i feel they can perform and probably will perform better in weeks to come.

In 7th place is FA and this is a shock to me they have overperformed by a mile. Under lee there insirational captain she has performed miracles and i think they could sneak into a playoff position.

Now for the shock of this season so far in 8th place of 10, MP now i dont know what to make of MP, When I have seen them they have performed well but it looks like that maybe ashley mike or ian aint been closing out the matches when its been needed i feel we are gonna see MP own atleast 3 games and probably sneak into the top 6 for the playoff place. You must bring ash ian mike and dak to stand any chance, you got a uphill struggle to defend your crown.

BNR lie in 9th place and this is also such a false position. You also been very unlucky and I can see you winning 2 or 3 this season and that may just be enough to see you in to the playoffs. To do this u need your star players like david, Dina and italian ownage. Bring the others that are strong like ronin and you will sneak playoff place.

In last place in the interleague is CS however they are in 1st place i think in the tour standings. This is one of the nicest leagues in WPC and you have been unlucky this season which lets be honest is just a learning curve and i think next season we will see CS fly up the table, However losing dave(highway_bong) is a devistating loss and now you have to rely on lover of mnms strawberry princess and badboy also brunette princess could pick you up some valuble wins. I see you winning your fist interleague match this season who against? i think FA.

ok now onto the predictions and results from last week

PP and MP shared a 3-3 draw in a clean match where PP probably should have won.
Pred 4-2 MP Result 3-3

8BS beat FA 4-2 but it was rather easier then the scoreline suggested and another perfect prediction for me.

BNR battled and faught but to no avail as LPL defeated them 4-2. BNR been very unlucky this season.

LS played DC and if it wasnt for jordy i would have got this perfect but in actual fact LS was the deserved winners.
Pred 3-3 Result 4-2 LS

PFN played a determained CS team but PFN had just too much for CS to handle and came out with the win i predicted.
Pred 5-1 PFN result 5-1 PFN

Thats the recap of last week lets get to the important stuff!

Match one

Devine Cuez(2-0-1) VS Latino Pool Legends (1-1-1)

Date and Time: Monday 18th August @ 7pm

Room: ADV Lounge 1

This is a interesting match up, Its Lewis VS Tino with the possability of it being that for the game 6 to decide a win or a Draw. DC have added Jeanna to there roster and thats a good move. She has the quality needed to keep DC as high in the table as possable and in that high seed Playoff place. LPL need this win. Tino must bring his 6 best players to the table he needs to win and win big because PP and PFN are getting the better Games Difference now.

Score: This is a very tough one so 4-2 to DC

Match three

Pool FictioN (1-1-1) VS Pool Pals (1-1-1)

Date and Time: Tuesday 19th August @ 6pm

Room: Bad Times

This is a heavyweight battle but only in mid table. PP i feel have had the better start to the Season and have has the most consistant players playing for them this season. Bamm Danielle marky and now they can start looking up the table. They play a PFN team that was back to best last match with a 5-1 demolishion of CS and they will be out to get another win with jamie sleepyman and ogges all looked good last match I feel with PFN being at home they will just sneak this.

Score: 4-2 PFN but dont be surprised if it end 3-3 cause thats how closely matched these two team are.

Match four

Cyber Sharks (0-2-1) VS Luckyshots (2-1-0)

Date and Time: Tuesday 19th August @ 7pm

Room: Pool Hustlers

This unfortunatly is going to be a mismatch. LS are in devistating form lately and with simon and bev both playing well it breeds confidence through out the team. Add to that team canucklehead and tony when he plays that is 4 players that can light up any match and 4 wins more to the point. They come up against CS and if you underestimate CS then they will shock you the the badboy effect i feel hes there best player add to him lover of mnms and heather then it may be close but i think its gonna be LS's to throw away.

MATCH OF THE WEEK

MAGIC POOL (0-2-1) vs FALLEN ANGELS (1-0-2)

Date and Time: Wednesday 20th August @7pm

Room: ADV lounge 2

What a MATCH OF THE WEEK we have here these have serious history. Where FA have beat MP in STL interleague and i feel this is going to happen this week. I have heard of bad blood but from what reliable sources tell me MP took this to a new level when FA beat them last time. FA need Lee and spence(mr_l2ock) to turn up and play well as ian mick and ash will not want to lose to FA. If FA win then they will be slight favourites for the cam playoffs at end of season. MP not in the playoffs would be a disasterous attempt at keeping the title they won last season. This is going to be a hotly contested Match and one I will be at please keep it clean and no shit talking. the score? I am going to make this my underdog pick.
