Extreme, Elite(Who Cares) Pool Competitors Are Out But IS ANYONE Surprised?

Yes you guessed it last night in a obvious twist of events the half impressive Team EPC got thrown out of Season Four of the World Pool Championship. So as Head Admin and as World Pool Championship Blogger, I feel I have to explain the reasoning and how we came to the decision.

Extreme Pool Competitors were meant to play Magic Pool. Now while i was reffing a super match between X8B and UO (more of that in a little bit), I was approached by 2 or 3 Magic Pool players in regards to tourney fixing in the Extreme Pool Competitors. Now I know that some people will say its rich coming for Magic Pool, but at the end of the day this tourney fixing was completely intentional and blatant. It all started with a Cam Tape and a SS of a 2 round Swiss in which Jack later went on to say that it didn't even take place! Even though I was provided witht he proof and the evidence that something dodgy was happening. This all centered on Crozzy jumping, now although hes not in the inter league team for EPC, I was told earlier on in the week that Crozzy had rejoined and Jack needed to get his games in.

So Croz jumped this 2 round Swiss and he went 2-0 in a Regular 8 tournament without even playing. Fine it might have been co-incidence but I wanted to investigate more, hence me telling the ref of the MP vs EPC match to delay the start by 15 minutes. I was then sent another Camtasia tape of a SIX round True Swiss. Yes 6 round true Swiss with all of Jacks inter league players entered and would you believe it Crozzy too. So I called a Emergency Admin Meeting in which I got the opinions of my 2 CO-HA's Bev(UO) and George(Oggie, PFN), Bryan Patsfan(BNR), Nicki and Steven(both SS).

I showed them the Evidence and originally when I showed them the 2 round True Swiss Ogges couldn't see anything wrong, that was until the 6 Round True Swiss showed up and then we had a problem as to each and every one of us the proof was there that EPC have been fucking up there own league by faking, YES JACK I SAID FAKING there tourneys. Whether you do it to one player or all players its C-H-E-A-T-I-N-G. There is no other word for it. So the admins that were present voted by 6-0 that EPC were to be removed that very second.

So MP got a 6-0 Bye Win, We got Jack to the conference and we broke the news. Obviously It didn't go down well, but when a league is prepared to fix anyone's stats and do it so blatantly, then there is no other option. WPC do not and will not be associated with Leagues like EPC that manipulate the stats to get someone eligible or even just get caught cheating like that. The fact that Jack then went on to say that we were wrong to throw out EPC I don't get, but please all that read leave a comment on this post and tell us was WPC right to get rid of EPC. Would the likes of PFN, LS, TPL, TC or UO do this sort of behavior, knowing the Head Admins and the Admins of each league the answer is a resounding NO!!! WPC have acted properly this time, I know int he past we haven't and I hold my hands up that for the Freedom thing I fucked up and for that I am sorry. This is my first Head Admin job and I WILL NOT LET SHITTY TEAMS LIKE EPC MESS UP WPC SEASON 4. EPC was given a chance they blew it. They ARE out with immediate effect and I would like to report on LS vs PFN and the X8B vs UO match but i will leave that for another day.

Thank you for reading this and I hope everyone (apart from EPC obv. lol) will understand that if the 6/8 admins in the meeting didn't throw out a league that was majorly fixing tourneys, because that's what it is, then WPC would be a laughing stock.

GL the 13 teams left this season, I am actively searching for a replacement team to take EPC's stats, but luckily I doubt we will have another team with the ordasity to cheat.

Interesting Match up ends in one seided result.....But not without controversy

Match 1 of Week 3 was SS vs 8BC, which looks like a league on the decline rather than a league on the up. SS romped to a victory that was hard faught and well deserved. Strengthening Michele and Chris's claims for a early shot at the MVP. SS and BNR both won to take them both to 9 points, SS are top on game difference but have had 3 easy matches so far really. BNR won the first 4 last night and Ross and Dina lost games 5 and 6. But Straight Shots are showing early shooting power here. They have a big squad and will most probably take ALL the beating this season. The only game that was lost was a controverial game. Rackem made a bank at the end to take the win. A very, very good shot if you ask me. But players like Nigel himself and I quote said 'where was the cam there'. End of the day there wont be any back handed accusations, but also and the most important thing is the responce from Rackem was great. I play on cam too. Says It all. Taking that bit of controversy out of the report and SS deserved the victory. 8BC must buck up there ideas and get back focussed.
