WEEK 11 LOOK AND ALL STAR LOOK

Welcome to another WPC sports scene report. Week 10 was a very good week, PFN suffered there first defeat 4-2 against SP but secured a playoffs place thanks to LPL losing to TC who moved within 1 point of the playoffs. LS regained top spot beating the new team 8Ball crushers 5-1. HT could only draw with DS. Lets look at week 11.

Match 1

Dead Strokes @ Lucky Shots

Date and Time: Monday 9th February @ 6pm

Room: Sweet Dreams

So DS hold the 4th spot in the tight race for that last plaoff place just ahead of the SS team. Roy has got a bit more form out of DS lately and with reports that Ash might be joining them, DS could make this playoff spot stick. It is worth noting that now Rick has come back they seemed to have picked up there form even though they should have ended HT's unbeaten run they allowed HT to snatch a draw which allowed LS to regain top spot with a surging 5-1 win against 8Ball Crushers. LS have looked good. Tam so is at 5-0 and Chris at 4-2 hence why LS despite losing twice and only to High Timez still have a shot at the WPC World Cup. This will be a interesting match up and one worth watching.

In WPC Tam and Chris for LS have looked good this season as for DS Roy and No skillz are 3-1 and looking good.

Me for LS i have lost now 3 on the bounce and i need to find some sort of form

Key Men:

Tam and Roy are the key men in my book they need to both win there matches as they have been important for LS and Ds respectivly this season

Prediction:

This is going to be close DS are in some good form but LS seem to have everyones number in the Western Conference other than HT so 3-3 here

Match 2

Sexy Poolerz @ Pool Dragonz

Date and Time: Monday 9th February @ 7pm

Room: Straight Into Darkness

I dont know how to predict this match. I was tempted to make it the upset special but i changed my mind as P are in great form at the moment and that was followed up by SP inflicting the first defeat on PFN last week going 4-0 up. PDZ have got close to winning this season i remmeber TC's very first game and PDZ took it to 3-3. They should have drew with PFN a few weeks ago too but Pita pulled out the win for PFN. This is going to be a good match but SP have too much for PDZ.

Ace for PDZ is there best shooter and Pete must play well for SP

Players out of form:

I cant really see anyone out of form for either team

Key men:

The captains are important for both teams and they must call right if SP call wrong PDZ will do them

Prediction

After the big win from SP last week there wont be a chance for PDZ so 5-1 SP.


Match 3

Straight Shots @ BYE

SS will move to 4th temperarily while DS slug it out with LS and SS will hope LS get a positive result as the race for 4th place hots up.

Latino Pool Legends @ Rank Monster

Date and Time: Tuesday 10th February @ 7pm

Room: Not sure yet lol

So match of the week goes to this match in a room i have no idea for. LPL must win to stay in touch with Rank Monster. If RM win then a gap appears and TC will become the biggest threat to Rank Monster. RM have been in a slump of late and altho they lost to TC they can beat a very underachieving LPL team whos title challenge have slipped of late. If RM come out like they did early season and play Sable, SPC_elite then they have a chance, LPL on the other hand will need all the luck they can find to get this title challenge back on track.

Tino and Brian must play well for LPL and RM respectively.

Players out of Form:

Both teams lol need to show they have it int hem to win WPC.

The captains must bring there strongest players and be on form!

Interesting game lined up here. CM were very lucky against SS last week getting a controversial Tape DQ win. CM though kept up with the pace of HT and LS and this week must be careful of complacency because this 8BC team showed some quality last week despite losing 5-1 to LS they have some good shooters in Sky and Andrew. CM must show with Luke and co this week to show that they can cut it at the top they must atleast match LS's result.

Sky and Luke for 8BC and CM respectively

Players out of Form:

Lisa for CM must start winning again

Key Men:

Sky and Lisa are key here if sky can encourage 8BC to a victory it will be a shock whereas Lisa must pick her players carefully and will look to get a big win.

Match 6

True Champs @ Pool Fiction

Date and Time: Wednesday 11th February

Room: Bad Times

Now this is a big match and my upset Special. TC in past two weeks have beat LPL and beat RM. PFN suffered there first defeat last week 4-2 to SP but they were 4-0 down. Xpac and Itchy balz are playing really well and there team is working off that and they are a shock candidate for the playoff places. If they win here they will i think go into 4th place and it would be a big win. PFN will no doubt come stacked and will look to get a big win here.

Players out of form:

well Kerry needs to up her game a bit i feel. She was Allstar last season but looks to not be able to this season.

Key Men:

Or key woman in her case, Kerry when she wins playing early PFN usually win she should win this week and for TC its Itchy Balz he is there best player and will take some beating
