Week 2 Predictions

Welcome to week 2 of WPC and week 1 was great, with SP and SPS both agreeing to play there week one match this monday because of crossed wires. XP slaughtered TC 5-1 as TC show with just 4. For a league that is pretty active Dawn and Shan have left and Pommy has apparently quit, it will all come down to what the new captain Bryan makes of what he has left. Ross(kingvaughan) has signed up for TC and Sid(Easyrun) has defected to TC from XP.

Lucky Shots new captain Aaron shared a draw with the new Captain Ash after both teams cancelled each other out. Both teams need to really pick up this week to make a good start to a 13 week season which is so important.

Xtreme 8 Ball won but lost a player this week as they beat SS 4-2 and Adam lost to a impressive Nigel and obviously Adam didn't like it by saying 'I shouldnt lose to players like him' The fact is Nigel isnt too bad of a player. They lose him until next friday.

Cue Masters played Money In The Bank and CM was one of the favourites to win this whole WPC Season! They drew with MIB though and MIB surprised a lot of people!

LPL won due to a timer against Pool Outlaws and the shock of the week was the 8 Ball Crushers team defeat the revelation of last season Ultimate Outlaws only by 6-0!

So that is the shortest recap for a while. This week has one more match for SP and SPS. on Monday. Lets get into the predictions.

MIB vs FR

Date and Time: Monday 14th September @ 6pm

FR: Petey, Ash, Kimbo, Natty, Sukioo and Dan

So two teams that drew last week against teams that should have won against them. MIB drew with CM and that was a big surprise. Freedom drew with the reigning champions Lucky Shots and this week FR come into the match as slight favourites, but last week I would have said a complete FR walk over. Now I aint so sure but can MIB up there game again? I think they could. Freedom have Kimbo and Sukioo coming here apparently so Ash knows what hes doing the good thing for MIB is how well Rich can call players!

UO vs CM

CM: Chele, Craig, Lisa, Lukas, J and Plan

So CM didnt lose there first match of the season but they did draw with Money In The Bank but this week play a team who lost last week 6-0 to 8BC. So can UO turn this around? I doubt it. CM will be back in force this week. Luke will not lose many this season and will not let CM lose many this season. In Chele they have a good WPC player when she was at SS and this week they will have to win and win big.

8BC vs SP

Date and Time: Tuesday 15th September @ 7pm

8BC: Trey, Adam, Bev, Cajun, Corona y4hoo 8 ballcrusher
SP: Ketan, Pete, abeel matrix, Conners, Ste and Badassplaya

This is a interesting match Cubby has picked to ref because the first two on the monday will be easy but this one will be very interesting as SP will be off the back of probably a week one win vs SPS in the re arranged match up. 8BC however won 6-0 last week vs UO and there was no timeouts. This has led to Trey saying 8BC will win this WPC. No chance there as it was only UO (no disrespect to UO) but 8BC face there first big challenge here this week. They will need players like Bev, Trey and new signing Adam(smooth_kid from FR) he left Freedom because apparently Ash said hes bringing superstars to FR. To my knowledge Adam is one of Peteys favourite players and will be interesting to see if Adam who was my tip for Allstar in freedom can get it for 8BC instead.

SPS vs MP

Date and Time: Wednesday 16th September @ 6pm

SPS: Monte, Kat, Demon, missfitz, Guns and Twisted insane
MP: Steve, Missy, Chris, Ian, Jane and Tom

Again SPS were meant to play PO butthat fell through when PO pulled out. So it left the way clear for a MP side with Jane back from a long lay off and god they look strong. Steve, Missy and Chris to name three that will and should have screaming seasons. The play a SPS team who also play on monday so we don't know what to expect except the msfitz can win on cam she has now over 2 weeks of the expo so this means that SPS are no slouches but MP are experienced and Chris has got some decent talent in. Tom is improving all the time and this will go to the wire I think but MP just will have too much. If they last the season they could get to the playoffs!

LPL vs X8B

Date and Time: Thursday 17th September @ 6pm

X8B: James, Ben, Conor, Pokerdan, Pro Shots and Sattyy

So LPL and X8B both won last week. LPL won 6-0 with a PO no show but X8B played there big rivals in SS and they were lucky to win but win they did. This match is important as LPL ran away with it last season but now one big division you cant afford more than I would say 2 losses this seasont o take home the regular title and with teams like XP, LS, SS and MP all looking to win it then this match is huge. Ben will bring what he considers a strong team whereas Tino will bring who he gets eligable. Will be a barn stromer.

LS vs XP

LS: Tony, mvp.douchebag, Aaron, JD, Chris and Shane
XP: Kerry, Cubby, Lewis, Indiana elite, Ogges and Andy

So the reigning champs drew with Freedom last week as XP won 5-1 against a short handed TC side. So what can be the thing that makes me think LS have a chance this week. Well it is mainly the team who beat PFN last season playing for XP and LS knwo they can defeat them. Cubby though will set his team up so that wont happen. Whereas Aaron the LS capt will bring a few new faces to the table I feel. Only one way to findout in my match of the week. This is big for the champs as they need a win and quick.
