Week 12 Of WPC

Hello and welcome to what I hope will be a better blog than the shit I wrote last week. Just Two regular season weeks to go in WPC. LPL have basically beaten every team put infront of them. Only Sexy Poolerz were able to beat them. The question is can LPL win in the playoffs on cam and show with 6 players. I don't think Tino will have a team for next season although with Tino he usually does and if they win WPC season 4 then they could well enter Season 5 to defend such a title. Who are they likely to fear? From there own Division your have the likes of Lucky Shots and True Champs who ar ein form at the moment. True Champs with Travis and Pommy playing along side the likes of Itchy and Dawn and Mike really look like a team that could take LPL all the way in just the conference Finals, but to do that they would have to get rid of a LS who have what I think might be a record 13 players eligable and with me not being around lately great credit must go to Chris for doing the hard work. With players like Chris, Raymie, Simon and Aaron Eligable along with up and coming players such as J.D then LS could have a chance to reach there second WPC World Cup Final bo3 Series for the second season running. The only playoff spot being played for now is in the grasp of Xtreme 8 Ball but Ultimate Outlaws are hot on there heels. X8B have had a poor season by Bens standards, losing to teams they shouldnt have lost to. UO on the other hand have beat TC, TPL (when they were in WPC), but I think this season will just come up short and X8B will take the 4th spot.

Lets move onto the Championship Division and its not who will be in the playoffs, Its who will face what looks the easier team on paper Sexy Poolerz. As things stand Straight Shots currently lie in top spot 1 game and 1 point ahead of BNR who in turn are 1 point clear of PFN. These next 2 weeks are vital for these three teams because I am sure they wont wanna play each other in the first round of the playoffs although I am sure Ogges wont care who he plays as PFN have this extraordinary record of getting to the finals in WPC. Every Season they have got to the WPC World Cup bo3 Series. Straight Shots have looked good this season but donthave many people eligable for the playoffs. They will have 6 eligable for the playoffs but maybe Nigels system don't work that well or just maybe he just had a lot of people say they would then leave or not show up or get booted like Chelle (mmm.dinamite) did for recruiting to CM now I have spoke to CM and they didnt know and its been sorted. BNR and PFN look the best equipped for the playoffs but however SP are on a tear with the likes of snooky, Conners, Pete and Ketan. SP are in the form of WPC at the moment and we all know what they can do on Camtasia. Whoever does win the regular season will hope SP and there form tail off otherwise there wont be a conference finals for the top team. I see SP shocking the team to finish top which I think it will be SS and I think BNR will finish BEHIND PFN to give PFN home advantage. If this all works the way I think it will then I must be some sort of mind reader lol.

There will be 3 Allstar events and two of them will be on the same night. We will have a Reg 8 5 Round true Swiss with the top 12 players and if that means 3 fromt he same team then so be it. then there will also be a bootem where each captain will nominate 2 players and aslong as they played this season in the 6v6 they may be nominated. On the Tuesday after the final week it will be Premiership vs Championship in a 7v7 carry first to 7 wins just like last season. so this is how its going to work. The team in Each division with the MVP will get two players then to make 7 the top teams will get 2 players unless theres 6 teams in a league so lets see who gets in for each team.

Premiership have 6 teams in so the MVP who is from True Champs and unfortunatly Pommy had a wierdly good season he ends on 8-1 when wirting this so he gets the MVP Spot for the Premiership and as the MVP's get to captain congrats Pommy :D

The Championship have a standout MVP too with SS_spurs.mad who broke ran me earlier on this season is on 5-1 which unfortunatly means Pommy take the main MVP Title but this makes Chris the Captain of the Championship team witht he winners taking home advantage in the World Cup bo3 series. Palp was beaten only because I know he wouldnt wanna captain the All Star team :P

So there you have the Allstars and yes Jamie got Allstar because for PFN he deserved it. The captains are the guys I hope will take it on. Pommy and Chris if not working I am sure would like to do it if not we will assign captains but all Allstar events require Camtasia and the 7v7 carry will determain the home room for the grand finals bo3. GL all.

So lets look at this weeks matches.

LS take on a X8B side who are just trying to stay in the last playoff place and aslong as they dont collapse these last 2 weeks they should do it, whereas Chris and his luckyshots team are looking to consolidate second spot in the Premiership, TC are there main rivals for the second spot and this week with the team that chris has if they all show then X8B will have to show with a stacked team too but for some reason I will go for a 3-3 draw here and say that X8B come on a good day as do LS, this will be a very good match.

LPL will destroy 8BC they aint be as good in WPC than they have in UIC and IPA and the way Ant, o1d school and co have been ripping through the teams they must surely be one of the favouites to wint he whole thing 5-1

SS will have to concentrate on eligability this week as Nigel doesnt have that many and once Rick updates the stats he will see that some people only need one game to get eligable but I wouldnt expect MVP Chris to play this week because nigel really needs people to play so he can have a playoff team to choose from! They play Sexy Poolerz who are +5 and on fire! 5 out of 5 and still going this is a big test to see if SS can still win the title with PFN and BNR breathing down there knecks but i think they will hold on this week and with a patched up team beat SP this week 4-2

BNR can bounce back against TC but TC will want second in the PRemiership as much as BNR will want top spot int he Championship and this will be fierce where Nigel will hope TC do his old friends over this week and with Pommy and Travis on there roster I see it happening this week and TC come out with a 3-3 draw.

It is a beast of a write up this week and makes up for the past weeks enjoy all
