Latino Pool Legends plays Pool Fiction in the rematch of last seasons grand finals
First match up is Kerry vs Optimus and it starts with a bang break from the LPLer giving kerry a reletively open table but kerry couldnt do anything with it. optimus sinks the pink solid leaving him with a openish table but it shouldnt be runnable. After going for the bang shot it fails and will now take a miracle to run. He over spins the white and gifts kerry with a chance but he makes a good banked snooker shot making kerry have to snooker herself and she hits back with a great bank shot. Kerry now has the upper hand although makes a good shot to snooker. Kerry hits a MAGNIFICENT bank shot and really takes charge with a brilliant run however I got booted and Optimus won somehow 1-0 to LPL that is only the 3rd game PFN have gave away.
Second onto the table PFN call one of there all time heavyweights zl_stu_lz to play Maldito_p4blo and its PFN's break look for the break run off stu this will be a quick game, he pots nothing but its wide open the stripe is sunk but maldito gifts stu a run chance. It now doesnt look good for LPL at all this game after just 3 shots looks dead and buried if stu is on form. And no surpirses he does 1-1 is the score.
Up next after PFN tied it up is cubby, who has a excellent record in wpc is called for a cam match with mile99ium and he declines. Mile breaks and sinks a solid which is followed up with a double striped pot but gives cubby more balls to play with and will no doubt snooker his way through this. Sean goes for a pot and doesnt make it but gets lucky witht he leave, although its possable to pot for Mileif he does he is in if not my money is on sean and he doesnt sean will most probably take this from here. He hits in the green in to the bottom left and now looks set to take this to PFN 2-1. Sean hit some great shots and takes the well deserved win. he has a dodgy pink and must snooker but Mile can steal a win LPL dont deserve here. Mile Chokes and Sean gets the win he deserved 2-1 PFN
Next up for PFN is oggie he was once of LPL and will play Chex i expect a cam game but something tells me it wont be one. This game is pivital to the match if PFN win is ee a PFN match win too. Chex needs this win and ogges is to break and pots off a safety break. This will be a long game. Ogges makes a great double hit pot and now has the advantage of where his balls are. After a long saftey exchange Chex has come out better and now has a possable run opportunity but slipped and ogges senses he can finish this and produces a snooker which he gets away with it and hits a unbeleivable combo shot and surely has thsi game now. but scratches on the follow up shot and now chex has a chance to make it 2-2. It is 2-2 and chex finished it off really really neatly.
5th game up and a very important game for both teams here, up for PFN we have Lewis who plays on cam as he has too and he will face player_dude which will leave a kev vs tino final game lets see how this match will go with Player Dude breaking with one really wierd break but its effective and keeps the balls tight as we see yet another snookering match. After 12 minutes of snookering Player Dude makes a ball. The Snookering re-commences. After a very boring match player dude went for it and both players missed easy shots the winner ended up Lewis and 3-2 to PFN.
The clincher for PFN they hope will be derekgnr and will play Tino for LPL. This will never be a slow game as both only like to attack, however they start with a snookering contest and tino has a opening and pots the solid to set himself up here for a save. He has a open table and sunk a solid and a stripe. He goes for stripes and its set up for a run here, he makes the tough shot and its easy pickings now but tino misses the easiest shot and derek should clear from here giving pfn the 4-2 win althought derek got very very lucky with one or two of the shots pfn stay undefeated and have come through a very very stiff challenge. PFN win 4-2
On summary my 4-2 to LPL could of happened but PFN was good value for the win and glir both teams

Match Write-Up
Game One – CM_cydjabbo def. LS_simon.kitto - There wasn’t a lot going on in the early stages of this game, neither player really wanted to open things up too much to avoid exposing an easy run. Simon then started shooting with some intent and in an attempt to open the table he knocked the black in – it was apparent that he would be colliding with the 8, but must have considered it a risk worth taking. Evidently it wasn’t and CM took an early 1-0 lead.
Game Two – LS_Ihatejustin def. CM_john_foret - Perry has complete control of this game, frustrating John who is clearly no fan of a snooker battle. Perry has the game pretty much wrapped up since John only has two balls left on the table and pretty much no way of hitting them. However Perry somehow manages to hand the advantage to John, who is faced with a simple 3 ball run out. He can’t manage it and misses a really easy 8 ball into the top left corner and Perry has the simple task of draining his remaining 3 balls and the 8. He ties it up at 1-1.
Game Three – LS_the.bawbag def. CM_you_might_lose - Raymie plays it smart and makes sure he keeps the majority of his solids on the table while You Might chips away at the tally of his stripes remaining. Although Ray’s tactics were obvious enough, You Might chose to ignore the tactical battle and just continued trying to make his balls. Eventually he would be in a position where he wasn’t going to be able to sink any of his and clearly in the next shot Ray would have a clear run – he then tried to force his stripe down the rail past one of Ray’s solids that was blocking the pocket. It was a good effort but it hung close the bag. It was debatable whether Ray could by-pass this ball to run out the table, but with re-assurances from his team-mates that he could make it past, he went on to clear the rack and put LS 2-1 in front.
Game Four – LS_canuck_stoner def. CM_sic_pool - After a very long, and boring, tap-fest at the start of this match (which must have lasted for at least 10 minutes), the game soon opened up when Canuck went gung-ho at a run and came very close, clearing every striped ball bar two. Sic would then return the compliment, and having ran out of position after sinking 3 balls, he would fail miserably at an attempt to start a safety exchange. Left in place to finish the rack, Canuck would complicate things a little by leaving a long-range 8 ball into the bottom right pocket. He took his time and played the shot well to put LS in the comfortable position of not being able to lose the match, at 3-1.
Game Five – LS_tam_s0 def. CM_enabled - Enabled would produce a good break-off, spreading the table nicely, inviting him to have a go at the solids. A semi-difficult long shot would rattle in the jaws though, leaving Tam with the opportunity. He in turn would open with a nice shot, leaving himself a path to run the table. His next shot wasn’t so nice, as it knocked his orange stripe toward the top right pocket blocked by the 8. It proved no problem though, as he would later go on to bank it into the bottom right corner and put together a well planned run to seal victory for LS. 4-1.
Game Six – CM_dbl.shots def. LS_tonzmaniac - Tonz would nearly put the icing on the cake for LS with a very polished 6-ball run very early on in the rack, but his final stripe was a bit short of pace and would fall short of the top left pocket. Double shots then finished the match off in assured style, restoring some respectability for CM and making my prediction correct! W00t!!! 4-2 LS it finished.
Anyways, was an interesting match to ref, no sportsmanship issues or otherwise, even if a couple of CM’s players aren’t too big on safeties there were no problems surrounding them. As far as the playing goes, LS came out, kept it solid and did what they needed to do to win the match. They played the right shots and got the wins in the important games, which is what they need to keep on doing to pick up the 1st seed in this conference. CM didn't play badly though and shouldn’t feel too downhearted about the loss, most of the match-ups could have gone either way (for example, Enabled was very close to executing his run-break before he jawed a long ball and Tam cleared up to make it 4-1). From what I saw they have decent enough players and should definitely be continuing to push on towards a play-off spot at the end of the season. Well... that's all I got. Thanks for reading.
