WPC WEEK 7

Welcome to WPC week 7 and just 3 weeks left till allstars and playoffs. The allstars I will tell you more next week. This week i am going to concentrate on the Playoffs. So 6 weeks in and LS and EPL have dominated the field. FA was the shock in line for playoffs until they pulled out after the LS vs FA match can LS and EPL be downed in the playoffs, I dont think so. LS need 2 points from 3 games to guarantee the playoff spot and EPL need 3 points from three games. So the likeliness is who ever wins this week in the MOTW on Thursday will be able to concentrate on eligibility for the finals. DC are in third and looking strong enough to keep there playoff spot despite only winning 4-2 vs CS and it should have been a draw. DC will be there in 3rd or 4th by the end. Next we have PFN who have gone on a great little run which combined in beating EPL last week. These will be a force in the playoffs and along with DC are the only other 2 i would say are shoe-ins for the playoffs. In 5th we have PP who really need to look behind them as LPL and BNR have found a little bit of form and will really push PP to the limits and with LPL with a 3 point bye this week they will go into 5th if PP lose and that would mean if BNR win to PP will find themselves out of the playoff picture and with a lot of work to do. LPL are in 6th and i think will show the form to keep them in the playoffs probably ahead of PP. BNR are PP's main challenge for the last playoff place and it going to go down to the wire. BNR play CS this week and they must win to put PP under all sorts of pressure. MP and CS need to win big in there remaining three matches. I will say CS beats MP to 8th place and MP finishes last in there Defence of the WPC season 2 crown.

LPL advances to 2-4-1 and puts pressure on PP and BNR

PP (2-3-1) VS DC (3-2-1)

This is where PP must get serious. They must bring everything and more to the table in DC home where DC have hardly lost at all in the own territory they always have a strong team in real fkin deal Jeanna Lewis and Zach they have a big chance to beat moe, chelle, dani and mark. This is going to be who holds there nerve. Lewis knows DC are so close to the playoffs and PP know they HAVE to win or face being outside of the playoffs come Thursday. The score for this matchi am going to base on who wants it the most and i think DC still think they could catch LS or EPL or Both.

CS (0-3-3) VS BNR (1-3-2)

This is going to also be one of them matches where CS could win if there captain puts her mind to it and calls her players intelligently if she does and BNR don't come prepared there will be a shock result. Heather got to 1v1 finals in the WPC tourney the other day and i would expect her to play along with mark, bri and homie. To counter this BNR capt dina will need her best 4 this season at the table in Jason, simon, wub and n_o_w_e this has the making of a whitewash to BNR or a close match that may come down to 3-3 and who has the best clincher. I will go with the numbers and the fact BNR are desperate for that playoff place.

PFN (3-1-2) VS MP (0-3-3)

This is the only one sided match this week. PFN with Sean, Kev, Kerry, Stu, Ogges and i could go on and on will play MP and Mike, Ian, Daknight, Jane. If PFN show up with the hunger and desire like the last couple of week then they will beat mike, ian and jane and only daknight may get a concelation win. PFN are flying at the moment and are going to destroy MP i feel this is where PFN say to rest of WPC we are going to win the playoffs.

Match 5

MATCH OF THE WEEK

LS (4-2-0) VS EPL (4-1-1)

Well 3 weeks to go and we have probably the title decider with the Shocks of the season LS playing the Powerhouse of EPL who have been oh so impressive since coming into WPC with the exception of there off-day last week Vs PFN. LS with bev as Capt and now they have corey and jeff in the team are a force to be reckoned with and will have to outfox p00l_charlie, sicc.destroyer and musti to force a win here. This is a important match for these two who ever wins will be guaranteed the playoff spot and will be able to play for eligibility for playoffs in the final two weeks whereas the loser with have to sweat but will most probably make playoffs anyway. Who will win well if Jeff and canuck and corey play i can see them three winning and i also feel LS will most defiantly want the unbeaten seasons o i will put my money on them winning with Bev picking up the 4 win to take this.
