First two week recap!

So 2 weeks down and 10 to go and as we have headed intot he thanksgiving break we have had a entertaining first two week of action, with 3 new leagues joining and 3 leagues either leaving due to no players or leagues being booted out for not showing. CZ, PS and DC have all bit the dust and was replaced by Rank Monster who was in season 1 but never turned up for playoffs after winning the regular season but they are more prepared for this season and i would like to say welcome back. Pool Dragonz are new to interleagues and i would like to welcome them to WPC where in there first match against PFN they are already getting the reputation of being THE most sportsman like in the whole of WPC this season. The third team we welcome back is a big blast from the past and was very good in there day, Regul8ors. Now I don't know how they will fair but i would like to hope they carry the reputation of the old REGS team and perform to the best of there ability.

The two divisions are now starting to take shape. Can the likes of Rank Monster, High Timez and Cuemasters stay up with the pace and continue the good records they have either inherited or made.

High Timez for me have impressed me the most in the two games they have played. They lie top in the Western Conferance at 10-2 but have Dead Strokes for company on the heels. High Timez have slaughtered LS and MP both 5-1.

MP have been very very dissapointing this season though, High Timez are in the prime position to atleast think they have a good shout at the playoffs in there first season of WPC.

Rank Monster received a 6-0 record when they cam in, They all showed to there first official match and DC who are now no longer with us timed out giving Rank Monster a 6-0 win again and they now sit at 12-0. CueMasters have only played one game but in that one game they beat again a weak MP side 4-2 and CM only had 5 players!

Magic Pool are in serious trouble, they have not won a 6v6 match since beating PFN way back in WPC season 1 when they won it all. It will be interesting to see if jordy can get his decent team to start performing in WPC and get them back on track.

Freedom have only played one match too but was convincingly beaten by Dead Strokes. Can Ash get FR focussed on the job in hand and get them playing well again? Only time will tell and I know that Freedom cant afford anymore slip ups if they think they can lift this WPC World Cup in season 3.

Lucky Shots recovered really well from there 5-1 drubbing to HT, to easily beat a strong SS team and on the whole both teams looked like they could make a dash for the playoffs.

Straight Shots lie second in the WPC Expo tour and have looked good in the 6v6's where they were in the end unlucky to only get a draw in the against Dead Strokes after Craig had a chance of winning it all for SS but they ended up drawing a game they should have lost really. They then went on to lose to LS and really should not be able to complain.

Dead Strokes are in second place in the Western Conferance and look really really good under Rick. They will be a side along with Lucky Shots and High Timez should be in the playoffs with that 4th spot up for grabs between FR, CM and MP.

NOW for the division of change! Yes we have no fewer than 3 new leagues as i explained above in Pool Dragonz, Regul8ors and Rank Monster. PoolFiction had a great start. Week 1 they could just watch as they had there bye when in week 2 they played the new boys on the block Pool Dragonz and was OWNED! RyRy and Roger were definatly the pick of the PFN players. PoolFiction move on to a 6-0 record and you can just tell they want this WPC World Cup this season so bad.

Pool CueZ is a very interesting blend of players, great players like Pommy, Crozzy and Perry. They have started very well and are also going well in the PRO interleague, This team in a challenger and beating last season champions LPL states there intent to wint his this season.

Sexy Poolerz have a new captain in King, Ross (who has done all the shit talking saying how SP are going to own PFN) has left for PCZ. SP have a genuine chance to win WPC despite being in the stacked half of the draw. If SP can bringthere best 6 players to the table each week they have a great chance to atleast get into the playoffs.

The most dissapointing team this season for me have been last season champions LPL although LPL always 'JUST' creep into the playoffs but this season it will not be possable to do that you must be up there with the pace as theres so many good teams who can take the top 4 spots. They will look to last season tho when they beat PFN in the Playoff finals to win the WPC World Cup in season 2. They can retain there title if they play to there best and like they did in the Playoffs last season.

RM, PDZ and REG i would like to welcome back and i will do a report on you 3 once i seen you play.
