Late but I'm Ill go figure :D

Hey all welcome to Sportscene and firstly sorry there was no blog up before the first match this week as Sexy Poolerz gave Xtreme Poolerz a hiding, SP STYLE.

First off Conners handed it to cubby, I dont remember Sean actually shooting. Weather conners used paper to line it up or not is besides the point, Cubby was one of the form players this season and once he lost game 1 I looked at who XP had and thought, yeah there is still a tight match here.

Match 2 saw Roger lost too Sir.Bangsalot, only this time he didnt live up to hsi banging name with The Sir producing some great skill to dispatch Roger and give SP the control of the game even though XP had a few good shooters, in Jeremy, Andy and Jamie.

Match 3 saw Jeremy come up against Snooky and this was never in doubt as Snooky surprisingly dominated(in my view) and took a well earnt win and giving SP 3 games to close out a win that looked a mismatch.

Match 4 and the clincher match was given to Ste to play Jamie! It was a great match up and Ste came out of on top but only suggested to me more that Jamie is a little bit rusty for XP this season.

Match 5 and 6 were dead rubbers but SP took them both with Pete and Ketan defeating Pommy and KErry respectively.

So I did not expect a 6-0 drubbing for XP there but SP are on fire this season and they now move to top of the table with LPL playing this week also.

Tonights match up I will be there again as I fight normal flu, possably swine flu and it is Brit Pool vs Magic Pool.

This will be a interesting match up as BP are looking to get back onto there feet after a few pieces of bad luck. They currently lie 7th with a game in hand over the rest and only 3 points off 4th place! LPL and SP are not going to be catched and neither are MP. But if BP beat MP tonight then the likes of SS, XP and X8B will be able to see MP in there sites again and that is the way maybe MP could lose out. Chris needs a good solid job tonight or the rest will catch them.
