The WPC WORLD CUP BO3 SERIES Finals

Welcome to the WPC World Cup Finals bo3 Series.

After weeks of tough competition it all comes down to this. Teams like High Timez and Xtreme 8 Ball were awful in the playoffs, well not as much Xtreme 8 Ball but they could have performed better than they did. Straight Shots lost out to LuckyShots who then beat a very good resilliant Dead Strokes team in the conference Finals. Pool Fiction finished the season like they started. They had a dip in form but rode it out and the new Captain Ogges looks to do what Me or Kev couldnt, take them all the way. Pool Fiction Demolished last seasons champs Latino Pool Legends and then beat Sexy Poolerz in the Conference finals.

I will now go into the main players from each team and what to expect.

Lets start with Pool Fiction:

Captain: Ogges

George has led his team well since kev didnt really do much this season. He has bought a strong bunch of players to the table and chipped in with some wins himself. He is a very good al-round player who will always give his all and has Pool fiction's interests at heart. He will need to bring his best 6 to the table this week though. Will he perform well in these matches this week?

Score out of 10: 7

Roger

Roger has been called on in the important situations for Ogges and PFN this season. He has some very big wins this season and will no doubt be needed this week in the big games for ogges again. It depends on who LS plays against Roger to how well he will do, but he will do well I am sure. One of PFN's big players going by this season and when Ogges has called upon him.

Score: 8

Cubby:

Well what can you say? Cubby is most definatly unique! He again has performed well this season with stats of 3-2, he will be there for each of the playoff matches I am sure. If Cubby comes on form he will beat anyone on the Lucky Shots team. If he comes on a off day well even I can beat him! But if PFN want to win this on the third time of asking then they must hope Cubby wins.

Score: 8

Kerry:

Well last season Kerry was one of the better players and actually had a chance of MVP before being pipped to the post by Rick from BNR. This season though hasnt been a stellar season for Kerry she has a record of 2-5. But on her day she is good and can beat most people. This season though I think even Kerry will admit that shes not been on her best.

Score: 6

Lewissss

Lewis has been brilliant this season. Even when at times he looked like he was going to lose he attained a record of 5-1 and is most definatly one of Ogges big hitters for this seasons finale and next season. If it all falls into place then Lewis will no doubt go for a clinch or be there as back up.....Not bad back up to have if you ask me.

Score: 9

zl_stu_lz

I finish the 6 with Stu, yes i could have put andy and jamie in but they did not show right till the end and Stu has a record of 5-0 and well you cant argue with that. He is so important to PFN when he plays. Give him the break and my god he will most probably break run you and you wont know whats hit you, A very important player for PFN.

Score 9.5

Total: 47.5/60

So that is the Pool Fiction 6 that I feel have contributed the most this season. Yes players like Derek and Jamie and Andy have contributed but this is a strong Pool Fiction Squad and one that deserves this WPC World Cup bo3 Series.

Lucky Shots

Captain: Jason

I have not had the best season. Finishing 4-4 at 50%. This has been a interesting season for me, running this interleague and helping bev do this captain job but in getting LS to this finals is a big achievement even though I know this season has not been my best.

Score: 5

Ihatejustin:

A very good player on his day with the only blotch being he can say things out of turn which he knows and try to stop doing it. His game play can be awesome bordering Garbage. The latter not very often at all. If perry turns up and plays well then he can steal a win. If he shows that he is out of form then PFN will pick up a easy win.nly time will tell.

Score: 7

Tonzmaniac:

Chris is Mr. LuckyShots and he is pretty good too! numerous times he has got me out of a rut and with stats of 6-2 you can tell he is in good form. If he shows in that good form then he will pick a win up for LS. I mean afterall he is probably the best this season apart from tam(more on him later). He will be the one telling the players to calm down and take there time.

Score: 9

Simon.Kitto

So we have Simon who can either flatter or flatter to deceive. If he comes wanting to play which I think he will, I mean come on its the Grand Finals then he should very well picka win up but PFN are stronger. If simon is at the top of his game then he should eak out a win to help his LuckyShots team mates.

Score: 8

Tam_s0:

Tam is Lucky Shots star player. He can run, he can snook or as we found out in the playoff match against Ash he can dissapoint his opponent by not touching tap breaks. So what will Lucky Shots expect of Tam this week in the finals? Wins! plan and simple, Tam must win his matches whereever he plays them, weather its 1st, 2nd, or 6th if he does then LS will stand a chance but he is there best player and so important for Luckyshots

Score: 9

Im_just_jeremy:

Again I could ahve put Bev in here or Raymie or Heather but the fact remains that Jeremy is the man that Lucky Shots picked last time out int he conference finals and he did a good job. If he plays you know he will give 120% of effort and will no doubt run whoever he plays close, he is a great player when on form so we will see.

Score: 8

Total: 46/60

So Luckyshots have got a chance in this but Pool Fiction will need to have a couple of off days and I feel that PFN are just getting back into it now. They won the conference finals against Sexy Poolerz I thought very comfortably in the end. Luckyshots was ran closer by DS and should havelost. If they go to 3 games which i think they will PFN will win as they have the home advantage.

PFN 4-1
LS 4-3
PFN 4-2

Thats my final post till my closing post for this season, andits been fun ty for all teams who took part.
