Yes you guessed it last night in a obvious twist of events the half impressive Team EPC got thrown out of Season Four of the World Pool Championship. So as Head Admin and as World Pool Championship Blogger, I feel I have to explain the reasoning and how we came to the decision.
Extreme Pool Competitors were meant to play Magic Pool. Now while i was reffing a super match between X8B and UO (more of that in a little bit), I was approached by 2 or 3 Magic Pool players in regards to tourney fixing in the Extreme Pool Competitors. Now I know that some people will say its rich coming for Magic Pool, but at the end of the day this tourney fixing was completely intentional and blatant. It all started with a Cam Tape and a SS of a 2 round Swiss in which Jack later went on to say that it didn't even take place! Even though I was provided witht he proof and the evidence that something dodgy was happening. This all centered on Crozzy jumping, now although hes not in the inter league team for EPC, I was told earlier on in the week that Crozzy had rejoined and Jack needed to get his games in.
So Croz jumped this 2 round Swiss and he went 2-0 in a Regular 8 tournament without even playing. Fine it might have been co-incidence but I wanted to investigate more, hence me telling the ref of the MP vs EPC match to delay the start by 15 minutes. I was then sent another Camtasia tape of a SIX round True Swiss. Yes 6 round true Swiss with all of Jacks inter league players entered and would you believe it Crozzy too. So I called a Emergency Admin Meeting in which I got the opinions of my 2 CO-HA's Bev(UO) and George(Oggie, PFN), Bryan Patsfan(BNR), Nicki and Steven(both SS).
I showed them the Evidence and originally when I showed them the 2 round True Swiss Ogges couldn't see anything wrong, that was until the 6 Round True Swiss showed up and then we had a problem as to each and every one of us the proof was there that EPC have been fucking up there own league by faking, YES JACK I SAID FAKING there tourneys. Whether you do it to one player or all players its C-H-E-A-T-I-N-G. There is no other word for it. So the admins that were present voted by 6-0 that EPC were to be removed that very second.
So MP got a 6-0 Bye Win, We got Jack to the conference and we broke the news. Obviously It didn't go down well, but when a league is prepared to fix anyone's stats and do it so blatantly, then there is no other option. WPC do not and will not be associated with Leagues like EPC that manipulate the stats to get someone eligible or even just get caught cheating like that. The fact that Jack then went on to say that we were wrong to throw out EPC I don't get, but please all that read leave a comment on this post and tell us was WPC right to get rid of EPC. Would the likes of PFN, LS, TPL, TC or UO do this sort of behavior, knowing the Head Admins and the Admins of each league the answer is a resounding NO!!! WPC have acted properly this time, I know int he past we haven't and I hold my hands up that for the Freedom thing I fucked up and for that I am sorry. This is my first Head Admin job and I WILL NOT LET SHITTY TEAMS LIKE EPC MESS UP WPC SEASON 4. EPC was given a chance they blew it. They ARE out with immediate effect and I would like to report on LS vs PFN and the X8B vs UO match but i will leave that for another day.
Thank you for reading this and I hope everyone (apart from EPC obv. lol) will understand that if the 6/8 admins in the meeting didn't throw out a league that was majorly fixing tourneys, because that's what it is, then WPC would be a laughing stock.
GL the 13 teams left this season, I am actively searching for a replacement team to take EPC's stats, but luckily I doubt we will have another team with the ordasity to cheat.

ok well im signed up still as tpl i think i wasnt playin or even for sure if i was even gonna play wpc for epc to be honest, but all cause i had to eat and couldnt play? this is thrown way overboard, yeah he shoulda took me out but throwing a whole league out just cause i timed out a tourney? if the others had games before the tourney or games without me timing out vs them, then hows it fixing stats, u can say oh i was gonna be epc later on, but what if i wasnt? what if i told jack to shut him up? never know? but no the other people on epc should of been able to play without all this nonsence cause i timed out, would be different if i actually played for epc, but yea i dont see why its a big deal for me to time out a tourney, and act like you all never had something more important n left the pc n timed out

I am amazed that people need to cheat to try and win. Is it really worth getting found out and kicked from wpc for i think not. I feel for other players that will now not be able to play due to irresposibility by a capt.
Think its pretty sad a league has to cheat in faking trnys to play in interlgs, if you havent enough to run a legit trny in ur own lg u dont have enough legit players for inters, admin team did the right thing here and were back u all the way, bout time we named and shamed the cheaters, be interesting to see what cases would make of faking trnys and gaining ladderbux by deception!

I think the admin of WPC was in the right to kick out the lg that cheated. They had the proof they needed and did what they thought was best for the WPC interlgs. I also think if a team cheats and nothing is done its makes the other teams look bad. VGL in the rest of the season teams.
Croz, no one is blaming you for your part in this, or disputing whether or not you were going to play for EPC. The fact is Jack blatently kept you in that trny to try and get you more games for eligibility in interleagues. It doesn't matter whether it would have benefited EPC in one particular WPC match or not - Jack being willing to fix a trny like that to get members eligible for interleagues clearly shows EPC ain't a league fit to compete in WPC.
How the hell can you say its cheating?.. only 2 ways it could be considered cheating is if he did it to get croz elig to play in wpc.. which he wasnt.. or if others needed the win over croz.. which they didnt. Stupid decision to throw a whole league out over this.

Then You Obviously know the game were legit. being there clearly in the games profile. just because croz didn't show up. or timed out. doesn't mean that the whole team should have to be punished. I'm sure that if they knew croz wouldn't have been in the room that they would have removed him.
Im not at liberty to say if Jason's decision was good or bad because I dont have any information but if six out of eight admins agree on it being illegal, then I assume there was enough info. Many leagues do fake tournaments for eligibilty these days, Jack just happened to get caught by an MP side that never shy away from the spotlight, more reasons bad then good.
Im glad Jason took initative to hold the admin meeting and then have this post to admit his wrongs [Freedom being the first to come to mind with my awesome short-term memory] & how he admits hes trying to do better, that im happy he did.
What im not happy about? He did attack Jack & EPC in his post, and he did kick a league out for running fake tournaments [2] to get Croz eligible even though he states hes playing for another league. [Those facts based off of the Annonymous who posted @ 15:22].
Its a step in the right direction, and we all must make mistakes to continue on that path. Good progress Jason, really unlucky Jack. In conclusion, im on both sides, so this seems highly useless!
Whoah, since im slow to post never saw the 18:29 post, if everyone else played, then it was a real tournament [obviously], and only Croz should be punished as he became eligible [only if he did play for EPC that night] unfairly. So if they're correct, I'll have to side with Jack on this, but since I know nothing, this'll be my last post.

Pretty obvious it wasnt a fake trny and epc shouldnt have been thrown out over this .. but everyone makes mistakes .. In the end i guess what admins say goes, i cant seem to figure out how 6 ppl out of 6 could agree that this was a fake trny and agree on kicking the whole league out.. there mustnt have been much thought put into it.

Yes Mr.predictor, this was a trny with 6 jumpers in it, 5 of the jumpers [except crozxxy] played all of their games. The other 5 were my players for WPC for the night, our 6th player [who had his games in] was coming at about 7:20 to play his game. But Jason claims I was trying to get croz elig is why I let him jump and stay. Croz was only gonna play UIC for EPC, and he already had enough games to play UIC. He just wanted to play in a trny, was he not allowed to?
to be honest, croz was not in team for epc. if you see that my profile got 7 games in league and profiled in my yahoo id, you can pass on crozzzy game. it was a tourney win. Man what if someone joined the league and reported fake losses to me, that gets me illegable in the interleague?, anyone can do this. it is the same thing. and how come you offense EPC like that?, cussing, language.

No mina there is no way 'he was just coming to the room' over 8 rounds in which a lot of the 'WPC' players got free wins hence making some of your games fake. WPC do not want leagues in that even think about doing that.
