2 Weeks until the playoffs

So here we are at the bisnuess end of the season and only one team can mathematically get to the playoffs that aint there now and that is Brit Pool. They lie 5 points off X8B, XP and MP in the race for the playoffs but only two game to go so the chances of them reaching the playoffs are very, very slim. This week though there are 4 matches, if X8b and XP play out a draw, and with MP's bye then it will be completely sorted, however with X8b and XP looking to go past a SS team who have players eligable and a good solid Captain in Shelle then this will be a very tough finish. SS play BP and LS play SP, with LS in some form now and if they show with 6 players can give SP a scare. Freedom play Cue Masters.

FR vs CM

This will be a good match as long as petey has enough guys that are out of the box to play! They have severely under achieved this season and with CM the same all they can concentrate on is the WPC Plate but FR have a reputation of winning these sort of Trophies. CM will no doubt join next season and now with Chele as Captain(I thought she would eventually) it will be interesting what they do for next season.

SS vs BP

This has a bit more to it because a win for BP and defeat for XP(It has to be XP because X8B have a week 13 Bye) then BP would have the most unlikely chance of toppling XP in the race for the playoffs. If SS win they dump BP's chances completely and basically consolidate 3rd place. SP cant be caught because of the week 13 bye they will get. If BP want this enought hey will atleast put the pressure on XP by winning this tonight. The one thing I have learnt about SS is they are fair and Shelle is a great Captain. I will go for the underdog in this though, Trey will show up with the more hungry team.

LS vs SP

So two weeks ago and a underdog LS team handed it to a in form SPS team 5-1! This was a shock but also proof that maybe Tony and Chris are getting LS back on track. I personally love LS. SP however is such a great league too and with players like Jim and Ste they have some good shooters. The problem is they also have Pete and Ketan and I for one would be worried about that lol. In all seriousness those two are SP through and through and deserve a lot of credit, they have had a great season and it wont end here because as well as LS have been playing they wont have enough to beat this strong SP side.

X8B vs XP

Match of the week and one I will ref on my birthday! This will be a very interesting match up and one that if XP win the Playoffs are sorted because of X8B's bye and MP will have made it to because they have the bye this week. If XP lose though and BP win its game on next week! Cubby though I am sure would not let this happen and he will make sure he has the 6 that can beat Ben and his X8B crew.
