Grand Finals!

Here we are then the finals of WPC Season 5 and we have Sexy Poolerz who won the Regular Championship against the team that finished 6th in Magic Pool. Magic Pool have been there and done it after winning season 1 of WPC. Sexy Poolerz have been there in other Interleagues, MLP Fives being the main one last season. This could either be a classic or be a washout. Magic Pool have defeated XP 4-0 and also seen off LPL 3-2 after situations conspired against MP and the LPL Captain became kick happy that common sense prevailed and MP got the win and there second time in the WPC World Cup! Magic Pool have a genuine chance to beat Sexy Poolerz. Sexy Poolerz this season have had awesome attendance from there players and that is the reason they did so well. You look at players like Snooky and Pete and Ketan these are the players that have really shown up this season for SP. Magic Pool though they had a wonderful start and just kept there 6th playoff spot. If they go on to win WPC season 5 Brit Pool may feel slightly hard done by as they thought they should have had the 6th playoff spot. Your looking for players like Joe, Jordy and Anil to step up to the plate this time and if they do and Chris is on form these are going to be 2 or 3 very, very close matches.

SP are at Home.

Sexy Poolerz have not lost at home all season.
Magic Pool have only lost away once all season, a 5-1 defeat to Brit Pool

Jordy from MP has played in every WPC playoff season.

If Sexy Poolerz win they will become only the second team to win the Regular season and win the Playoffs.

Magic Pool could become the first team to win WPC twice.

This is the First season where Pool Fiction (who had a chance as Xtreme Poolerz) are not in the WPC World Cup.

So match one will be tight. Neither team will want to give away a early 2-0 or 3-1 lead. I think both teams will show with the strongest possible team they can meaning MP will have the likes of Joe, Chris, Anil and Jordy. While Sexy Poolerz will have Pete, Ketan, Snooky and Ste. I think it will be the 2 spots I haven't mentioned that will be the make or break of the match. The 'fringe players' will be the most important and if they can get a win against one of the big four then it will be interesting to see how this match goes! I think Cubby might be ustreaming it dont hold me to that but if he does it will make it even better. I think it will go to 3 matches, I also think SP have too much for MP but then again I thought XP had too much for MP and look what happened there!
